Position Overview
The Back Waiter / Server Assistant plays a vital role in delivering a seamless, elevated dining experience. This position supports the service team through precision, anticipation, and attention to detail, ensuring every table is executed with excellence. Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a passion for refined hospitality in a fine-dining environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Support Servers and Captains to ensure fluid, well-paced service throughout the dining room
- Assist with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and re-marking with precision
- Execute food running, beverage support, and guest assistance as directed
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in all service areas
- Anticipate guest and service team needs to enhance the overall dining experience
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team to support service flow
- Uphold all service standards, procedures, and presentation expectations

- Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times
- Demonstrate attention to detail, composure, and a sense of urgency
- Work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment
- Contribute to a team-oriented culture rooted in excellence and accountability
Qualifications
- Previous experience in upscale dining or hospitality preferred, but not required
- Strong multitasking ability and sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow direction while anticipating service needs
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and elevated service execution
Compensation & Benefits
