Manager
The Fielding’s River Oaks Service Manager position oversees all restaurant operations focused on upscale dining room service. Will work under direct supervision of the General Manager / Restaurant Director. Will be responsible for varied duties, in a fine dining environment, such as but not limited to hiring, team development, service execution, sanitation standards, scheduling of the Service line team, financial goals and performance. Maintain a professional relationship with all department managers and employees. Duties are varied and complex, subject to evolve with the business growth. Able to adapt to evolving marketing promotions, procedures, techniques, tools, materials, equipment, and products. Oversees and is responsible for the team’s development and training with a focus on FOH performance. The Manager is held accountable for the team’s and restaurant’s performance.
Essential Duties but not limited to:
Extensive knowledge of fine dining tasks such as, but not limited to, framing silverware
table side preparations such as table side carving, and flambe, proper plate handling technique, wine selling and service,
Inspire the staff to exceed guest expectations for
food and service modeling the behavior that produces desired results
Professional, manicured, upscale personal presentation
Extensive knowledge of food and beverages with a focus on wine
Lead others to achieve the company vision
Be a product champion, modeling the behavior for the team.
To know Fielding’s standards and hold others accountable for behavior as defined in the Partner Handbook.
Handle cash and credit cards to expectation
Knowledge of Word, Excell and computer operations
Be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, 50 to 60 hours per week
Open and close the restaurant to expectation.
